DIY Disinfecting Spray

disinfectingOne of the ways I try to keep our home chemical free is by making my own cleaners. This disinfecting spray can be used in every room of the house. It only uses four ingredients, and it’s a snap to put together.

DIY Disinfecting Spray

  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 1 cup filtered water
  • 1 tbsp witch hazel
  • 50 drops tea tree oil

  1. Add all ingredients to a spray bottle and shake to mix.

Recipe Notes

The witch hazel is important, as it is what allows the essential oils to mix with the water.

You can use other oils as well. Nature's Shield/Thieves/OnGuard disinfect well, as do citrus oils.
